Omar Imtiaz

Omar Imtiaz is a British born serial entrepreneur, and highly experienced investment professional with over 22 years of expertise in real estate and investment management. He currently serves as the Chief Executive of Imtiaz Holdings, a specialized conglomerate in the alternative investment sector. He is widely recognized for providing differentiated advice to sovereign households and government-related entities, driving economic growth and promoting bilateral trade. As an astute leader, Omar focuses on fostering collaboration, mentorship, and team development to drive success. He is well-versed in portfolio management, risk assessment, and asset allocation, ensuring long-term financial sustainability for organizations. He holds an impressive track record of originating, advising, and managing real estate and alternative investment transactions globally, exceeding $7 billion USD to date. His credibility has earnt him the 2018 Bilateral Business Advisor Commendation Award from Mahathir Mohamad, the former prime minister of Malaysia, and he was honoured with an inspirational business leader award from the Government of Pakistan in 2022, highlighting the significant impact made in the business realm Previously, Omar served as a shareholder and advisory board member of Ligue 1 French football club OGC Nice. He also held the position of Managing Director at Abu Dhabi Capital Partners, a sovereign-affiliated investment boutique catering to the unique requirements of sovereign households and institutions. During his tenure, he oversaw the implementation of strategies across various geographies and sectors. In 2014, he collaborated with Cuban authorities on an R&D program, facilitating foreign direct investment (FDI) into Cuba, including landmark real estate, leisure, and tourism deals worth over $1 billion USD. In addition to his professional endeavours, Omar is committed to philanthropic activities through his charitable foundation, focusing on education, clean water, and shelter. He works closely with global leaders to address education, poverty, and humanitarian issues. Omar’s educational background includes a real estate management program from Harvard Business School, Private Equity Program from University of Oxford Said Business School, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Quality Surveying from the University of Salford.
