Chief Executive Officer of ABTA, Association of British Travel Agents. He graduated from University of Cambridge in 1984 and obtained his MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
He has been Chief Executive of ABTA since September 2005. He is responsible for the strategy and direction of the Association. Before joining ABTA Mark held senior strategy and corporate finance positions in a number of industry sectors, and was Group Strategy Director of Centrica plc., the parent company of British Gas and the Automobile Association.
ABTA is the UK’s largest travel association, representing travel agents and tour operators that sell £32 billion of holidays and other travel arrangements each year.
